Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 16, STELATO, a premium new energy vehicle brand under Huawei-backed Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, released its first mid-to-large premium touring model, the STELATO S9T, onto the market. The vehicle is offered in four variants with both all-electric (BEV) and range-extended (EREV) powertrains, priced from 309,800 yuan to 369,800 yuan. Deliveries are scheduled to start on Sept. 21.

The STELATO S9T comes equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 advanced driver assistance system, HarmonySpace 5 smart cockpit, and the new Tuling chassis. It offers six exterior color options, Huawei's million-pixel smart projection headlights with digital lighting and interactive features.

The new model features a "golden ratio" body design (1.32 width-to-height, 2 wheel-to-height, and 3 wheelbase-to-height). It measures 5,160 mm long, 2,005 mm wide, and 1,492 mm high, with a 3,050 mm wheelbase. It comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, with optional 21-inch forged designs. Practicality is enhanced with a 660-liter rear trunk expandable to 1,677 liters, plus a 38-liter frunk on BEV models, which can be opened via Knock-Knock double tap action.

Inside, the cabin integrates a 16.1-inch central screen, a 12.3-inch driver display, and a 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen.

The HUAWEI ADS 4 intelligent driving system employs one 192-line LiDAR, 3 solid-state LiDARs, 3 distributed 4D millimeter-wave radar arrays, 2 additional 4D radars, 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and 4 microphones—over 30 sensors in total, enabling features such as P2P 2.0 parking-to-parking navigation and improved recognition in rain, fog, and dust.

The EREV version uses Huawei's Snowy Owl range extender with a 1.5T engine, a 53.4-kWh battery, and a maximum 354 km range on battery power only, extending up to 1,305 km combined. The BEV version features a 100-kWh battery pack with up to 801 km range.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
