Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 15, Joyson Electronics announced it has won new automotive intelligence projects from two leading automakers, covering the development and supply of central computing units (CCUs) that integrate intelligent driving, connectivity, and cockpit functions, along with related smart connectivity products. The projects carry a total lifetime value of around 15 billion yuan, with mass production scheduled to begin in 2027.
Joyson Electronics has been actively advancing next-generation intelligent vehicle technologies, including its high-performance vehicle computer (HPVC) for cockpit-driving integration, multi-domain fusion controllers, 5G-based connectivity products, and even in-vehicle optical modules.
The company emphasizes its "Local for Local" global strategy, enabling it to support both the intelligent upgrade of China's auto industry and the expansion of Chinese technologies into overseas markets. Its client base already includes established global automakers as well as emerging new energy vehicle startups.
In parallel, Joyson Electronics has established partnerships with Momenta, Qualcomm, Horizon Robotics, Black Sesame Technologies, and Huawei to jointly develop forward-looking solutions in cockpit-driving fusion, integrated parking and driving, and V2X technologies.
