[CAAM: Firmly Supports MOFCOM's Anti-Discrimination Investigation]CAAM issued a statement on September 13, 2025, in response to the Ministry of Commerce's announcement of initiating an anti-dumping investigation into certain analog chips imported from the US and launching an anti-discrimination investigation regarding US measures in the integrated circuit sector against China. CAAM expressed high concern and firmly supports the Ministry of Commerce in taking necessary measures in accordance with the law. The technological advancement and sustainable development of the automotive industry, in particular, require an open, fair, and non-discriminatory international market environment. CAAM calls on domestic and overseas enterprises to continue strengthening technological innovation and industry chain collaboration, deepen open cooperation in areas such as electrification and intelligence, and jointly promote the green, safe, and high-quality development of the global automotive industry. On the same day, 17 major automakers, including FAW, Dongfeng, Changan, SAIC, BAIC, GAC, JAC, Seres, Chery, Geely, Great Wall, BYD, Li Auto, NIO, Leap Motor, XPeng, and Xiaomi Auto, expressed their commitment to actively implement the initiative, building a collaborative and win-win development ecosystem between "whole vehicles and parts" to promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry.

[Lopal: Signs LFP Cathode Material Procurement Agreement with CATL, Total Contract Value Exceeds 6 Billion Yuan]Lopal (603906.SH) announced that its controlled subsidiary, Lithium Source (Asia-Pacific), signed an LFP Cathode Material Procurement Agreement with CATL. It is expected that from Q2 2026 to 2031, a total of 157,500 mt of LFP cathode materials meeting the agreed specifications will be sold to CATL's overseas factories, with a total contract value exceeding 6 billion yuan. This agreement, related to daily operations, helps the company establish long-term stable relationships with downstream partners and seize the overseas market ahead of others.
