Americas Gold and Silver Achieves 99%+ Antimony Extraction at Galena Complex

On September 8, 2025, Americas Gold and Silver reported breakthrough metallurgical test results from its Galena Complex in Idaho, confirming over 99% antimony extraction from copper concentrates using Allihies Engineering’s ASL hydrometallurgical process. The test work also achieved 90–96% flotation recovery of antimony, 98–99% silver, and 96–98% copper from tetrahedrite ore, with additional gold recovery of 25–60%.

This milestone demonstrates the potential to unlock previously unpaid by-product value and positions the company as a frontrunner for restoring U.S. domestic antimony production—the first in 25 years—while also enhancing copper, silver, and gold value from the Galena Complex.
