Key Developments in the Niagara Bauxite Project
- On August 1, 2024, the company signed an option agreement for the acquisition of the project. Its proximity to the Trans-Guinean Railway (TGR) provides significant advantages for future access to multi-user rail and port infrastructure.
- Fieldwork commenced in October 2024, with 184 drill holes completed across three target plateaus (Boussoura North, Boussoura North West, and the main Boussoura plateau), validating high-grade mineralizations intercepted in historical drilling by Vale in 2007. An additional 11 drill holes were used to assess the prospects of the Boussoura South West plateau.
- The drilling program yielded significant results, successfully confirming geological and assay continuity, supporting the estimation of mineral resources, and laying the groundwork for the 2025 Scoping Study. Relevant drilling results and resource estimates were disclosed in quarterly reports from December 2024 to March 2025.
- The Scoping Study, conducted by SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd., was fully completed as of June 30, 2025. The study focused on demonstrating the viability of a typical Guinea bauxite mining operation at a "starter project" scale, covering transport logistics, mine infrastructure, planning, product characterization, and financial evaluation. It aims to reduce capital expenditure, shorten the timeline to production, and optimize near-term cash flow.
