Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 9, Chinese automotive computing solution provider Black Sesame Technologies showcased its "Safey Intelligent Platform" solution at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, marking the solution's first presentation to the international market.

The solution is built on the company's Wudang C1200 family of cross-domain fusion chips, offering hardware-level security isolation, scalable computing power, and lifecycle compatibility. It is designed to provide automakers with a seamless upgrade path for smart cockpit and intelligent driving functions across mass-market to flagship vehicle models.

The Wudang series focuses on cross-domain computing. According to Black Sesame Technologies, the C1236 is China's first single-SoC solution capable of supporting pilot navigation smart driving, while the C1296 is the industry's first chip platform to enable multi-domain fusion computing. Since their market release, Black Sesame Technologies has worked with automakers and Tier 1 suppliers to co-develop relevant solutions.

At IAA Mobility 2025, the company presented both products and highlighted Aptiv's cockpit-driving integration solution built on the C1296. Leading domestic and international players including Aptiv, Continental, Joyson, and Banma are developing cross-domain fusion solutions based on the C1296.

Moreover, Dongfeng Motor will adopt the C1296-based cockpit-driving integration solution for several new vehicle models, with mass production scheduled by the end of 2025.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
