China's Imports of Unwrought Copper and Copper Semis Pulled Back in August

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis in August 2025 stood at 425,000 mt, showing a MoM pullback but a slight YoY increase of 2.4%. Cumulative imports from January to August reached 3.536 million mt, down 2.1% YoY. August remained in the off-season, leading to a decline in imports of unwrought copper and copper semis.
