Beijing (Gasgoo)- At IAA Mobility 2025, held Sept. 8–14 in Munich, Germany, Chinese intelligent driving technology company Horizon Robotics announced the official establishment of its European headquarters in the city. The move marks a milestone in building localized operations to support Chinese automakers' global expansion, particularly in the European market.

At Horizon Robotics' booth, the European version of NIO's firefly model made an appearance, which comes standard with Horizon Robotics' Journey computing platform. With its advanced intelligent driving technologies, the model is designed to deliver a safe, responsive, and premium driving experience for European customers.

To date, Horizon Robotics has helped seven leading Chinese automakers, including SAIC Motor, BYD, Chery, Great Wall Motor, Changan, VOYAH, and NIO, supporting the overseas launch of over 25 vehicle models to Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Australia.

Horizon Robotics provides full-chain support from technology adaptation to global delivery, ensuring its solutions comply with international and EU safety standards. Its intelligent driving technologies have accumulated over 1.5 million kilometers of overseas validation data across more than 50 countries and regions.
