With a total investment of RMB 500 million and covering 73 mu, the project will process retired batteries and cores, aiming for trial operation by year end. Listed under China’s ultra-long special treasury bond support program, the project highlights its role in national green development. Once operational, it will enhance local battery recycling capacity, ease raw material supply pressure in the new energy chain, and promote safe, efficient, and sustainable treatment of retired batteries, boosting related industries and advancing the Yangtze River Delta’s circular economy.
