China's Auto Dealers' Inventory Alert Index Hits 57.0% in August

[SMM Domestic Automotive Market Update] The China Automobile Dealers Association released data indicating that the inventory alert index for Chinese automobile dealers reached 57.0% in August. Compared with the same period last year, the index rose by 0.8 percentage points, while it declined by 0.2 percentage points month-on-month. Currently, the inventory alert index remains above the 50 mark, reflecting a downturn in the prosperity of the automobile distribution industry.
