Daquan Energy: Production Cuts to Continue in Q3 with Polysilicon Production Guidance of 27,000-30,000 mt

Published: Sep 5, 2025 15:35
On September 3, at the 2025 H1 Collective Performance Briefing for the New Energy Sector on the STAR Market, Zhu Wengang, Director and General Manager of Daqo New Energy, stated that the company would continue its previous production cuts strategy in Q3, with polysilicon production guidance ranging from 27,000 mt to 30,000 mt, and full-year 2025 production guidance between 110,000 mt and 130,000 mt.

Zhu Wengang noted that the company's polysilicon production costs are influenced by multiple factors, including energy prices, raw and auxiliary material costs, capacity utilization rate, and various period expense outlays, resulting in dynamic fluctuations in product costs. The company will adopt prudent operational strategies and refined management to continuously explore the optimal balance between setting product selling prices and precisely controlling production costs, aiming to ensure stable operations and high-quality development.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
