[SMM New Energy News Flash] RecycLiCo Battery Materials Inc., a critical mineral refining and lithium-ion battery upcycling company, has acquired a 10,047-square-foot facility in Delta, British Columbia, to serve as its new headquarters, demonstration recycling plant, and in-house laboratory. The $5.88 million purchase, partially seller-financed, will enhance the company’s testing, quality control, and commercialization of its hydrometallurgical technology for both battery recycling and critical mineral refinement. The relocation and commissioning of the demonstration plant are scheduled to begin in early 2026, with full operational readiness targeted for Spring 2026. This move strengthens RecycLiCo’s position in supporting domestic supply chains for lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, and other critical minerals, while also qualifying for government funding initiatives in Canada and the U.S.
