Beijing (Gasgoo)-On September 2, Chinese mobility technology company Desay SV unveiled its new brand "Chuanxing Zhiyuan (in Chinese pinyin)" in Shanghai, marking the debut of the company's first automotive-grade low-speed autonomous vehicle lineup. At the launch event, the Chuanxing Zhiyuan S6 "Wing" edition and S6 "Sliding Door" edition were presented to the public for the first time.

The S6 models are equipped with two Hesai AT-series LiDARs, delivering perception capabilities that significantly enhance safety and reliability in complex operating environments.

Among the seven core highlights of the S6 series, six feature major innovations: full automotive-grade development from vehicle to components, an intelligent axial control system, climbing capability of up to a 25-degree slope, a six-year/300,000-kilometer battery standard, a fully automotive-grade ADAS suite, and a smart sensing vehicle exterior.

Designed with a focus on safety, durability, and reliability, the S6 platform integrates an automotive-grade steer-by-wire chassis and modular upper body. Its adaptable design supports diverse applications, ranging from industrial parks and logistics hubs to fresh food distribution, retail replenishment, express delivery, supermarket distribution and pharmaceutical transport.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
