CPCA Subcommittee: Preliminary Statistics Show National Passenger Vehicle Retail Sales Reached 1.952 Million Units in August, Up 3% YoY

According to data from the CPCA, preliminary statistics show that from August 1-31, national passenger vehicle retail sales reached 1.952 million units, up 3% YoY and 7% MoM. Cumulative retail sales for the year totaled 14.698 million units, up 9% YoY. During the same period, national passenger vehicle wholesale volume by producers stood at 2.409 million units, up 12% YoY and 8% MoM. Cumulative wholesale volume for the year reached 17.934 million units, up 12% YoY.
