[SMM New Energy News Flash] Urban Mining Company and Shenzhen Qiantai Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement on new energy vehicle recycling and dismantling in the Shenzhen-Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. Before the signing, Qiantai’s delegation visited Urban Mining’s auto dismantling and scrap steel processing facilities, where both sides discussed business development, industrial layout, and long-term planning. Under the agreement, the two companies will focus on recycling entire new energy vehicles, including batteries from fleets such as rental cars, buses, and ride-hailing operators. Qiantai will deploy a professional team to assist in battery disposal and provide support for applications in battery energy storage and second-life utilization. Moving forward, the partners aim to strengthen resource integration, establish a regular high-level meeting mechanism, and jointly promote new business models, creating a demonstration zone for industrial upgrading while consolidating new energy recycling resources in Northwest China.
