[SMM New Energy News Flash] Tianqi Lithium announced at its 2025 interim results briefing that it has completed preparations for the industrialization of lithium sulfide, a key material for next-generation solid-state batteries, while continuing to enhance product quality and optimize cost-reduction technologies. To meet downstream demand for sulfide solid electrolytes, the company has launched a 50-ton-per-year lithium sulfide pilot project in Meishan, Sichuan. The project, based on self-developed technology and equipment, is designed for low-risk, rapid mass production.
