On August 28, 2025, Titan Mining announced independent testwork results showing that natural graphite from its Kilbourne project in New York can be processed into ultra-high-purity products for batteries, industrial uses, and defense applications. The company confirmed spherical graphite with 99.99% purity suitable for lithium-ion anodes, 99.9% pure industrial grades for refractories and lubricants, and materials meeting potential defense MiL-spec standards. Titan is on track to commission its graphite demonstration facility in Q4 2025 to supply bulk samples for customer qualification and offtake talks.
