[SMM New Energy News Flash] On September 2, Tianneng Automation (Tianqi Co.) and EVE Energy signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to jointly build a closed-loop system covering the full lithium battery lifecycle from manufacturing and application to recycling and reuse. The partnership focuses on strengthening reverse supply chains, expanding global recycling networks, and ensuring stable supply of high-purity recycled materials such as lithium carbonate, nickel sulfate, cobalt sulfate, and iron phosphate. EVE Energy will prioritize procurement of Tianqi’s recycled materials, while both sides will collaborate on innovative pricing mechanisms, ESG and low-carbon certifications, and green supply chain development. This cooperation aims to reduce reliance on primary raw materials, enhance industry resilience, and lead sustainable growth in the global lithium battery sector.
