[SMM Flash News:] Critica Limited has commissioned a Vietnam-based metallurgical and mining equipment company to design, construct, and operate a closed-circuit pilot-scale beneficiation plant for the vast Jupiter project in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, specifically dedicated to rare earth mineralization processing. The project aims to validate the results of previous small-scale experiments through a large-scale trial beneficiation plant, targeting an increase of up to 800% in total rare earth oxides while achieving an exceptional 95% mass rejection rate. Additionally, the Hanoi-based Center for Minerals and Environmental Science & Technology (GAVAQ) will process 3,000 kg of raw ore bulk samples. The process will include magnetic separation and flotation steps, aiming to produce high-grade rare earth intermediate concentrates. These concentrates will then undergo in-depth process testing to optimize their conversion into premium mixed rare earth carbonates.
