Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 1, XPENG announced it delivered 37,709 vehicles in August 2025, up 169% from a year earlier and 3% higher than July, marking a new monthly record.

Between January and August, its cumulative deliveries soared 252% year-on-year to 271,615 units, reflecting the company’s accelerating momentum in 2025.

According to the company, the electric vehicles (EVs) it delivered in the first eight months of the year are expected to reduce carbon emissions by more than 4.19 million tonnes over their lifecycle compared with conventional combustion vehicles. That figure is equivalent to the carbon captured by nearly 70 million medium-sized trees over a decade.

Among its models, the AI-powered family SUV XPENG G7 has quickly gained traction, surpassing 10,000 units of cumulative deliveries since market launch.

The MONA M03 sedan also remained a strong performer, with over 15,000 units delivered in August. Cumulative deliveries of the MONA series have now exceeded 160,000 units. Since its debut a year ago, the model has consistently sold more than 10,000 units per month.

The 2025 XPENG X9 MPV has continued to sell strongly following its global launch, becoming a hotter-selling all-electric MPV in Hong Kong and Thailand.

The XPENG G6 SUV saw its deliveries climb 11% month-on-month in August, with the 2025 edition continuing to perform well in China. The model went on sale in Thailand in late August and is now available in more than 30 countries and regions, further strengthening XPENG’s international presence.

The spotlight at the end of August was the market launch of the all-new XPENG P7, positioned as a futuristic AI-powered luxury coupe. Four variants were unveiled, with official prices ranging from 219,800 yuan to 301,800 yuan. Demand was immediate: within seven minutes of launch, more than 10,000 units of fixed orders were placed.
