【SMM Copper Inventory Update】 As of September 1, SMM copper inventories across mainstream regions in China increased by 5,000 mt MoM to 132,100 mt. According to SMM, this week's inventory growth was mainly due to continuous arrivals of imported copper supplies and weak overall consumption affected by high copper prices. Looking ahead, SMM expects imported copper supplies to continue arriving at ports as the market officially enters the September-October peak season. Downstream demand is gradually recovering, and copper inventories are expected to decline MoM.
