[E-bike "New National Standard" Officially Implemented Today] Starting today (September 1, 2025), the "Safety Technical Specification for E-bikes" (GB 17761-2024) officially came into effect, replacing the previous version (GB 17761-2018). This mandatory national standard was revised by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration for Market Regulation in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the National Fire and Rescue Administration.
