On August 27, 2025, the Xinjiang Ta'e 750-kilovolt power transmission and transformation project fully entered the conductor stringing phase this week. The project starts from the Ta'e 750-kilovolt substation in Tacheng Prefecture and ends at the Karamay 750-kilovolt substation in Karamay City, with a dynamic investment of 2.19 billion yuan. It involves the construction of one new 750-kilovolt substation, 280 kilometers of new transmission lines, and 677 steel towers. Upon completion, the project will need to coordinate with the access work for the Tuoli thermal power project. Therefore, during the construction phase, the potential impact of the access work on the stability of the power grid must be considered in advance.
