HiTHIUM has secured a major contract from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to deliver two large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Tabuk and Hail, northern Saudi Arabia. With a combined capacity of 4 GWh, the projects will feature HiTHIUM’s long-duration Power 6.25 MWh Desert Eagle BESS, developed with Alfanar Projects. As one of the Middle East’s largest BESS deployments, the initiative will bolster grid reliability and accelerate renewable energy integration in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.
