【SMM Steel】The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has announced the final results of its second expedited sunset review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from China. The ruling maintains that revoking the existing CVD order would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies.
The review confirmed net countervailable subsidy rates of 193.31% for Benxi Steel and 178.46% for Hebei Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.'s Tangshan Branch. All other Chinese producers and exporters will be subject to a subsidy rate of 185.89%.
