【SMM New energy】SAIC Audi “AUDI” Smart Manufacturing Base Inaugurated

On 25 August, SAIC Volkswagen announced that the SAIC Audi AUDI smart-manufacturing base has officially come on stream, with the Audi E5 Sportback the first model to roll off the line. Together with existing plants in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Hunan, the group now operates four fully intelligent, electrified production sites. Built on the Advanced Digitized Platform, the new facility has an annual capacity of 360,000 units dedicated to AUDI-badged vehicles.
