These Made-in-India BEVs will be exported to over 100 countries, making India Suzuki’s global hub for electric vehicle manufacturing. Modi also inaugurated local hybrid battery electrode production at the TDS Lithium-Ion Battery plant, a Toshiba-Denso-Suzuki joint venture, ensuring that more than 80% of battery value is domestically produced and advancing India’s green mobility ecosystem under “Make in India” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.” Additionally, the Prime Minister launched development projects worth ₹5,400 crores in Ahmedabad and addressed the impact of heavy rains and cloudbursts across India, expressing condolences to affected families and reaffirming government relief efforts.
