【SMM Copper Inventory Update】 As of August 25, SMM national mainstream copper inventories decreased by 8,700 mt to 123,000 mt MoM, with all regions seeing a decline. According to SMM, the main reason for destocking was the limited arrival of imported goods and a temporary improvement in downstream demand last week. SMM expects an increase in imported goods this week, and as high copper prices suppress downstream consumption, it is anticipated that copper inventories will rebound MoM.
