Recently, Heilongjiang News Network publicly released the detailed environmental impact report and public participation statement for the waste lithium battery recycling project of a Heilongjiang-based metal manufacturing company, marking the project's official entry into the public view and the beginning of its green transformation journey. The project is planned to be implemented in two phases. The first phase will involve the construction of an advanced waste lithium battery processing production line, adopting refined processes such as "inspection and storage-dismantling-drying-crushing and sorting-packaging," with an expected annual processing capacity of 6,000 tons, including 5,000 tons of waste ternary lithium batteries and 1,000 tons of waste lithium iron phosphate batteries. The second phase will further expand the scale by adding five production lines focused on the "crushing and sorting-packaging", including three lines for waste positive electrode sheets (from waste ternary lithium batteries) and two lines for waste negative electrode sheets, each with an annual processing capacity of 6,000 tons.
