[Aluminum News] On August 19, the Inner Mongolia Huodu New Materials Co., Ltd. held a commissioning ceremony for its Phase I project. At the ceremony, Gao Jiye, Vice Chairman of the Tongliao Municipal CPPCC and Secretary of the Hulin Gol City Committee, announced the full operation of the 300,000 mt portion of the 600,000 mt prebaked anode project. A relevant official from Huodu New Materials stated that the 300,000 mt Phase II project under construction will be commissioned on October 19, and the design for the 600,000 mt Phase III project has been initiated. By 2027, the total capacity will reach 1.2 million mt, fully supporting the development of the northern green power aluminum base.
