This week (August 15-21, 2025), the average operating rate of primary lead smelters in three provinces was 68.07%, remaining flat WoW.
This week, smelters in Henan, Hunan, and Yunnan maintained stable operations. A smelter in Yunnan, originally scheduled to resume operations in late August, did not restart as planned, with its production schedule pending. In addition to these three provinces, a smelter in North China will undergo regular maintenance at the end of August; a company in Central China stated that its crude lead department will enter a routine maintenance phase by the end of Q3, but the production schedule for primary lead remains unchanged for now; a smelter in East China, which slightly cut production last week, has seen its output recover as expected this week.
