Guizhou Chanhen Chemical Co., Ltd. Applies for Patent on "A Preparation Method of Iron Phosphate, a Precursor of LFP"

Published: Aug 22, 2025 13:37
[iron phosphate: Chanhen iron phosphate patent] Recently, Guizhou Chanhen Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. announced a patent for "a method of preparing an iron phosphate precursor for LFP." The process first involves purifying the byproduct ferrous sulphate heptahydrate from titanium dioxide using a hydrolysis-based impurity removal principle. After oxidizing the purified ferrous ions to ferric ions, they react with phosphate salts to form amorphous iron phosphate. By controlling different crystallization conditions, slurries of dihydrate iron phosphate with varying particle sizes are obtained. These slurries are then mixed in specific proportions, filtered, washed, and dried to produce anhydrous iron phosphate. This method optimizes powder stacking efficiency, reduces inter-particle voids, and produces more compact iron phosphate, which is used to prepare LFP with high compaction density.

[Energy Storage: Netherlands New Energy Joint Venture Subsidiary Ceases Operations, INLIF Shares Terminates Investment]
On June 9, Anhui INLIF Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. held a board of directors meeting and formally terminated the overseas new energy joint venture investment project of its wholly-owned subsidiary. The main content of this terminated overseas investment project was for the wholly-owned subsidiary, Anhui Feimi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., to join hands with Rhine Holding Co., Ltd. to establish a venture, setting up Netherlands Feimi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. During project advancement, due to changes in objective implementation conditions, the project failed to make substantial progress. The target company has not yet been established, and INLIF has not invested any funds. Based on considerations of preventing investment risks and optimizing resource allocation, and through friendly consultations between the two parties, a final decision was made to terminate this cooperation.
