On August 19, 2025, the first phase of the 300,000-ton annual production capacity new prebaked anode project of Inner Mongolia Huodu New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dushi Group, was fully operational and put into production. Established in July 2024 with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, Inner Mongolia Huodu New Materials Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Qinyang Carbon Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dushi Group, and Holingol Urban Development (Group) Co., Ltd., with a designed production capacity of 600,000 tons. With the successful commissioning of the Huodu Phase I project, the company's total carbon production capacity will exceed 2.7 million tons. Furthermore, the Phase II, 300,000-ton project, currently under construction, is slated to begin production on October 19, and design has begun for the Phase III, 600,000-ton project. By 2026, total production capacity in Huodu will reach 1.2 million tons, fully supporting the development of a green aluminum base in northern China. Meanwhile, Yunnan Wendu is targeting the 5 million-ton electrolytic aluminum market in Southwest China, radiating its influence into the Southeast Asian electrolytic aluminum industry chain. The Lianyungang calcined coke base is reducing carbon supply chain costs for aluminum companies by 10% through land-water transport.
