Recently, the Kashgar Region Environmental Protection Bureau released an announcement, planning to approve the environmental impact assessment documents for the "Kashgar Economic Development Zone XinHong Power Battery Production and Construction Project."

The announcement shows that the "Kashgar Economic Development Zone XinHong Power Battery Production and Construction Project" is located in the Lithium Battery Industrial Park of the LianGang area within the Kashgar Economic Development Zone, constructed by Xinjiang XinHong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

The total investment of the project is 150 million yuan, leasing a factory building with a construction area of 9,700 m². It will set up one cylindrical power battery production line, purchase lithium-ion battery production equipment and auxiliary facilities, and establish a hazardous waste temporary storage room (30 m²) and a three-level sedimentation tank (18 m³). After completion, it will produce 60 million cylindrical power batteries annually.
