On August 18, the signing ceremony for the TaiLan New Energy all-solid-state battery Hubei production site project was held in Qianjiang City. According to the introduction, the TaiLan all-solid-state battery Hubei production site project is a significant measure by Qianjiang in response to Hubei's pivot construction and the development of the "51020" modern industrial cluster. The landing of this project in Hubei also marks a key layout following TaiLan's R&D and production bases in Beijing, Chongqing, Anhui, and other regions, signifying that TaiLan's solid-state battery multi-point manufacturing network covering the core areas of new energy across the country has begun to take shape. Among them, the Chongqing base, with a 0.2Gwh production line, is nearly at full capacity, and an additional 12GWh of capacity is under construction, expected to start initial production within the year, with an annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan.
