【SMM Flash News】Bank Indonesia has lowered its benchmark interest rate, the BI Rate, to 5.00 percent. The decision was made during the Board of Governors Meeting on August 19–20, 2025. This action serves as the fourth rate cut in 2025, following earlier reductions in January, May, and July. In the previous meeting, the BI Rate was trimmed from 5.50 percent to 5.25 percent.
