General Administration of Customs: China's July Copper Cathode Imports Up 12.05% YoY Detailed Data Overview

Data from the online platform for customs statistics showed that China's copper cathode imports in July 2025 were 335,969.236 mt, down 0.32% MoM and up 12.05% YoY.

The DRC was the largest supplier, with 142,798.87 mt of copper cathode imported from the DRC in the month, up 20.72% MoM and 20.83% YoY.

Russia was the second-largest supplier, with 30,590.119 mt of copper cathode imported from Russia, down 32.25% MoM and up 20.76% YoY.

The following is a breakdown of copper cathode imports in July 2025 based on data from the General Administration of Customs:

Note: 1. Includes unwrought copper cathode with >99.9935% copper content; unwrought other refined copper cathode; unwrought refined copper wire bars; unwrought refined copper cathode profiles; unwrought refined copper billets; and other unwrought refined copper.

2. The total import (total) also includes some origin data not listed in the table above.
