The meeting held by the MIIT on August 19 was a large conference, but it did not discuss the detailed implementation of "rat race" competition prevention in various stages.
According to reports, it is expected that over the next two days (20th and 21st), discussions will separately cover the details of "rat race" competition prevention in the battery, module, silicon wafer, and polysilicon stages.
It is worth noting that due to the extremely high level of confidentiality of this "rat race" competition prevention meeting organized by the MIIT, participating companies have signed non-disclosure agreements. Therefore, the specific content discussed and the outcomes of the meeting must await official release.
The day before (on the evening of August 19), the official Weibo account "MIIT Micro Bulletin" suddenly announced that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Central Social Work Department, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Energy Administration jointly convened a PV industry symposium to further regulate the competitive order of the PV industry.
