Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 8, 2025, Chinese unmanned operation solutions provider KUSA Tech and Eco EV, Chinese full-stack intelligent automotive electronic control systems technology and product provider, forged a strategic partnership to integrate their respective strengths in robotic operation platforms and automotive-grade intelligent driving domain control, according to a press release issued by Eco EV.

Through close coordination of automotive-grade hardware and scenario-specific algorithms, the two companies will jointly develop a mid-to-high computing power domain control platform for unmanned operation robots, creating a high-performance, reliable "operation brain" for these machines.

The two companies stated that collaboration focused on fusing automotive-grade reliability with mid-to-high computing power.

KUSA Tech adheres strictly to automotive-grade standards in product selection and design, ensuring unmanned robots can operate stably in complex urban environments such as traffic-heavy service lanes and narrow backstreets.

Eco EV, a pioneer in China's L4 automotive-grade domain controllers, brings expertise in high-concurrency computing platforms. Combined with KUSA Tech's self-developed operating system, the platform supports real-time processing of multi-source perception data. By optimizing data flow scheduling and decision-making algorithms, the combination significantly improves the robots' responsiveness and reliability in sudden traffic situations.

Leveraging KUSA Tech's strengths in environmental perception and system integration alongside Eco EV's automotive-grade hardware, the jointly developed mid-to-high computing power domain control platform aims to overcome the challenge of balancing stability and cost-effectiveness in complex scenarios.

The two companies plan to accelerate the platform's large-scale application, enabling smarter, more reliable unmanned operation systems to support the upgrade of smart city infrastructure.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
