【SMM Aluminum Flash News】Yongchun Qingyuan Metal Scrap Aluminum Recycling and Comprehensive Utilization Production Project is expected to be officially put into production at the end of August

The Yongchun Qingyuan Metal Scrap Aluminum Recycling and Comprehensive Utilization Project commenced construction in September 2024. Trial production began in May of this year, and full production is expected to begin at the end of August. Upon completion, the project is expected to produce 110,000 tons of aluminum alloy ingots, 30,000 tons of aluminum bars, and 10,000 tons of aluminum castings annually. Located in the Xiayang New Materials Industrial Cluster in Yongchun County, the project, with a planned total investment of 230 million yuan, will form an integrated "recycling-regeneration-high-value utilization" industry chain upon completion, providing low-carbon raw materials for Fujian's new energy vehicle and photovoltaic industries.

Of which, the total in Shanghai was 2,096 mt, down 61 mt; in Guangdong was 2,785 mt, down 329 mt; in Jiangsu was 4,407 mt, unchanged; in Zhejiang was 7,212 mt, down 239 mt; in Chongqing was 4,238 mt, down 60 mt; and in Sichuan was 785 mt, unchanged.
