[LCO enterprises suspend quoting prices due to the price fluctuation of lithium carbonate]

Due to the continuous rise and significant volatility in lithium carbonate prices recently, most LCO enterprises have suspended quoting prices this week and adopted a wait-and-see attitude. A few enterprises have quoted prices for 4.4V LCO cathode at 225,000 yuan. On the cost side, the prices of Co3O4 and battery-grade lithium carbonate have continued to increase. Supported by these rising costs, LCO prices have surged significantly recently. On the supply side, cathode plants continue to adhere to a sales-based production strategy, with relatively sufficient inventory of raw materials and products. On the demand side, growth has been observed, driven by the end-use market. Overall, under the upward pressure of Co3O4 and lithium carbonate prices, LCO may experience a more significant cost-driven price increase in the future.
