Jijing recently announced that its Level 4 autonomous sanitation vehicles are now available nationwide sale.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Jijing Intelligent Technology (Jijing), a Chinese intelligent commercial vehicle manufacturer, recently announced that its Level 4 autonomous sanitation vehicles are now available nationwide sale, with production orders already scheduled through the fourth quarter of this year.

The company was jointly established by Chinese Level 4 autonomous driving technology firm Zelos Tech and listed smart equipment manufacturer Hubei Guorui Intelligent Equipment. Headquartered in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jijing focuses on end-to-end services for high-level intelligent commercial vehicles in specialized application scenarios, with core deployments in municipal sanitation, logistics transport, and livestock farming.

At Jijing's Wuhan production facility, Level 4 autonomous sanitation vehicles are undergoing final testing cruise at about 20 km/h, automatically slowing and steering to avoid pedestrians within five meters. According to an on-site engineer, the vehicles are equipped with multiple sensor arrays capable of precisely detecting road obstacles. Each unit must complete over 100 kilometers of integrated road testing before delivery, covering traffic signal recognition, braking reliability, and chassis stability on rough terrain.

The facility currently mass-produces three main categories of autonomous vehicles: municipal sanitation, livestock farming, and logistics transport. Municipal sanitation models—such as street sweepers, water cannon trucks, and mist-spraying vehicles—account for 70% of total sales. These vehicles incorporate key capabilities including precise edge cleaning, dynamic route planning, multi-vehicle coordination, and advanced waste recognition.

A flagship model, the“Xiangwo”unmanned water-spraying truck, carries two tons of water and allows precise control of spray flow, angle, and mode, making it suitable for urban dust suppression and auxiliary firefighting. It offers a 200-kilometer range per charge, hill-climbing performance suited to most city roads, and an intelligent refilling system that enables autonomous docking for water replenishment.

Beyond sanitation, Jijing has developed autonomous refrigerated trucks, feed dispensers, and disinfection vehicles, which are already in use by pharmacies, supermarkets, and courier companies nationwide. These intelligent systems are increasingly replacing manual operations, with municipal sanitation emerging as the most mature and stable application scenario.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
