Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 7, the 70,000th unit of the AVATR 07 model officially rolled off the production line at the brand's intelligent manufacturing plant, according to a post on the Weibo account of Mr. Zhen Zhuo, President of AVATR Technology.

Hitting the market in September last year, the AVATR 07 is offered in six variants across BEV (battery electric vehicle) and REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) versions, with prices ranging from 219,900 yuan to 289,900 yuan. Within just 20 hours of its market launch, the model received 11,673 units of firm orders.

Visually, the AVATR 07 follows the brand's distinctive design language, giving the SUV a bold and instantly recognizable appearance.

Inside, the front cabin features twin zero-gravity seats with 16-way electric adjustment, along with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Rear-seat passengers also benefit from adjustable seatback angles ranging between 28 and 34 degrees. The model debuts AVATR LINK, a smart control system that allows users to manage functions like climate, lighting, and seating via a dedicated tablet.

Underpinning the AVATR 07 is the Taishan intelligent chassis, which combines front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension. The suspension system uses lightweight silicon-magnesium-aluminum alloy and is equipped with hydraulic bushings to better absorb road vibrations.

The model also features an active chassis system that includes intelligent air suspension and CDC adaptive damping, improving both ride comfort and driving precision.

On the tech front, the AVATR 07 is powered by Huawei's latest intelligent systems. It comes with the HarmonyOS 4.0 ecosystem and is equipped with the advanced Huawei ADS 3.0 driver assistance system.

The BEV variant packs an 82kWh Shenxing battery, delivering a maximum range of 650 km. It features a newly developed dual-motor powertrain—an asynchronous motor at the front and a rear permanent magnet motor using silicon carbide technology—enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 3.9 seconds. The model supports 800V ultra-fast charging with peak power of 420 kW, allowing it to recharge from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity in just 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, the REEV version is powered by AVATR's in-house developed Kunlun range-extender system, pairing a dedicated 1.5T engine with a 39kWh hybrid battery from CATL. With 3C fast-charging capability, the vehicle can charge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
