【SMM Steel】Egypt’s Ministry of Industry and Transport is developing a strategy to localize automotive sheet metal production, aiming to strengthen domestic manufacturing and supply chain integration. The plan was discussed in a meeting with major steel producers and automotive sector representatives, focusing on practical measures to boost production capacity.

The government highlighted that the strategy will emphasize sustainable regulations, incentives, and implementation frameworks, which could enhance local vehicle component manufacturing and foster new industrial partnerships.
