Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 5, ARCFOX, a new energy vehicle brand under BAIC Group, announced via its WeChat account that the first production units of its small-sized SUV, the T1, have officially rolled off the assembly line. The new model is set to enter pre-sale later this month.
The ARCFOX T1 measures 4,337 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,572 mm in height, with a 2,770 mm wheelbase—figures that place it at the top of its segment. The vehicle features a closed-off front grille, a full-width LED daytime running light bar, semi-hidden door handles, and a wide-set rear design that tapers from top to bottom. Buyers will also be able to choose from a variety of optional features, including additional radar sensors, cameras, and upgraded lighting systems.
Inside, the model adopts a five-seat layout in a 2+3 configuration. The front seats can fully recline to form a flat surface with the rear seats, allowing for a more versatile cabin space. The cabin is equipped with a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a column-mounted electronic gear selector. A light-toned interior theme enhances the sense of spaciousness. One of the standout design features is a panoramic sunroof with a sunshade, spanning over 2 square meters.
While ARCFOX has yet to release official specifications on the powertrain of the T1, earlier filings with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology reveal that the model will be powered by a single electric motor supplied by CRRC Electric Vehicle, delivering a maximum output of 95 kW. The battery pack will use lithium iron phosphate cells provided by Zhongzhou Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited.
The rollout of the T1 marks ARCFOX's strategic expansion into the small-sized SUV segment. With its well-rounded configuration and attention to design detail, the model is expected to draw significant consumer interest.
