According to SMM statistics, on August 7, the social inventory of secondary aluminum alloy ingots in China's mainstream consumption areas stood at 33,400 mt, basically flat compared to Thursday last week, ending the continuous inventory buildup trend since early May. After entering August, due to the saturation of some warehouse storage capacities and the weakening willingness of traders to take orders, the growth rate of social inventory slowed down significantly, with some regions even showing a slight destocking trend. (The inventory data has been updated on the data terminal at 12:00.)
