Sweden's Orrön Energy (STO:ORRON) has sold a 76-MW agrivoltaic project in Germany to Saxovent Smart Eco Investments GmbH's renewable energy unit. The transaction value reaches up to €4 million, including an initial €2 million payment. The remaining amount is contingent upon municipal and legislative approvals.
The solar farm will be constructed in northeastern Germany as an agrivoltaic facility. This sale aligns with Orrön Energy's strategy to monetize early-stage projects for revenue diversification.
Orrön Energy originated from Lundin Energy AB's restructuring, shifting focus from oil and gas to renewables. Its portfolio includes Nordic assets and greenfield opportunities in the Nordics, UK, Germany, and France.
Berlin-based Saxovent Renewables operates as an independent developer, investor, and operator across renewable energy value chains.
