The Negeri Sembilan state government anticipates that, starting from 2027, rare earth elements (REEs) will significantly increase state revenue. State Secretary Dato' Seri Aminuddin revealed that two approved mineral leasing licenses are expected to generate 18 million ringgit in revenue.
During the state legislative assembly, Aminuddin stated, "The rare earth ore deposits discovered in areas such as Kuala Pilah and Jelebu are expected to play a significant role in national revenue." He was responding to a question raised by Kamarol Ridzuan Mohd Zain (PN-Paroi) regarding the progressive income strategy for the B40 group, posed by Dato' Seri Mohamad Hasan (BN-Rantau).
