






Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chery Group sold 224,439 vehicles in July, up 14.7% year-on-year, with Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. contributing 210,066 units, a 13% increase over a year earlier, according to the group's announcement.
In the month, Chery Group's new energy vehicle (NEV) sales climbed 44.1% from a year ago to 65,357 units, while exports rose 31.9% to 119,090 units, keeping the company at the forefront of China's auto export rankings.
For the first seven months of 2025, Chery Group sold 1,484,563 vehicles, setting a new record and representing a 14.5% year-on-year increase. NEV sales for the period surged 87.7% year on year to 424,737 units, while exports reached 669,360 units.
As of July 2025, the group's global user base exceeded 17.18 million, including over 5.17 million overseas customers.
By brand, CHERY brand sold 143,965 units in July (881,135 units YTD), EXEED sold 6,822 (69,490 units YTD), JETOUR moved 49,445 (348,813 units YTD), and iCAR sold 6,566 (51,076 units YTD).
JETOUR and iCAR posted the fastest growth in the group, up 31.8% and 51.1% year-on-year, respectively, in the Jan.-Jul. period.
Following the launch of 17 NEV models in the first half of the year, Chery Group added two key products in July. The Fulwin A9L hit the global market, securing over 50,000 units of orders within 24 hours, while the retro-styled iCAR V23 drew attention for its appeal to younger buyers seeking personalized vehicles.
