【SMM Lithium News Flash】With the current of 40,000-ton sodium-based and 60,000-ton ammonium-based iron phosphate capacities will be optimized and consolidated into a single 100,000-ton ammonium-based iron phosphate production capacity. This will be implemented in three phases within existing Workshops 1 and 2. Workshop 1 will house Phase I production line estimate 25,000 tons per years and Phase II with rise to 50,000 tons per years, totaling 75,000 tons, while Workshop 2 will support Phase III by 25,000 tons per years. The upgrade includes structural adjustments to by-product systems, replacing purchased monoammonium phosphate with in-house ammonium hydroxide and dilute phosphoric acid processes to enhance supply autonomy. Additionally, the drying section will be upgraded for energy efficiency, and new environmental protection facilities such as exhaust gas treatment systems will be added. Upon completion, the facility will achieve an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate precursor, relying primarily on existing infrastructure.
